How we use the details you send us, in plain English.

Who we are

Hey Roofer is Terry Lethbridge’s family roofing firm, based in Hornchurch. We used to be called Lethbridge Roofing. In this notice “we” and “us” means Hey Roofer.

If you have a question about your details, call us on 020 3985 0573.

What we collect

• The estimate form: your name, phone number, postcode, the type of job and anything you write about your roof.
• WhatsApp and phone calls: what you tell us and any photos you send. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and WhatsApp’s privacy policy covers how it handles your messages.

We don’t ask for your email address, and we never ask for bank or card details on this website.

What we use it for

Only to reply to you about your roof: to call you back, give you an estimate, and, if you go ahead, to arrange and do the work. We use your details because you asked us to get in touch, and if you become a customer, because we need them to do the job.

We don’t sell your details, share them with other firms for their marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Who can see it

• Us: Terry and the team.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and sends the form to Terry by email. Like any website host, it also handles technical details such as your IP address, to run the site and protect it from attacks.
• Microsoft runs the email inbox (Outlook) that the form goes to.

How long we keep it

If you only ask for an estimate, we keep your details while we’re talking about the job and delete them when they’re no longer needed. If we do work for you, we keep a record of the job for as long as we need it for the guarantee and our accounts.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn’t use analytics. If you close the “free estimate” pop-up, your browser remembers that for a few days so it doesn’t keep coming back. That stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.
